North Harbour Stadium - the National Stadium
The Case for North Harbour Stadium

North Harbour Stadium will provide New Zealand with the most cost effective, low risk and future proofed option for the development of a National Stadium through being:
- The most cost effective option at $226m
- The most expedient option - we will open in 2010
- The option with the least delivery risk - Resource Management Act, geo-technical, space, stadium design and construction, transport infrastructure design and construction
- An iconic long term solution that will meet the needs of the Greater Auckland Region - generating business, amenities, transport, funding, to an existing multi-purpose and genuine community venue in a rapidly growing City.
- Part of a community and elite level sport and leisure precinct already being planned
- The right long term return on investment decision adding more value to significant existing Government roading investment in Auckland, aligned with the Auckland Region Growth Strategy
