Monster Jam monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tyres and weigh a minimum of 5 tonne. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are capable of speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour. Monster trucks can fly up to 38 meters and up to 10 meters in the air.  The 3.5 meter tall, 5 tonne machines will bring you to your feet, racing and ripping up a custom-designed track full of obstacles to soar over or smash through!

Touring New Zealand for the first time ever, Monster Jam offers a full day of fun.  Before the afternoon shows on Saturday and Sunday, don't miss the world famous Party in the Pits, where you and your family can meet the drivers, get autographs, and take pictures with the trucks!

EVENT DAY INFORMATION

 

 Pit Party

If you have purchased a ticket to the Pit Party please enter via Gate A and follow directions of security staff.
Prams may be brought into the Pit Party but must be then cloaked at Gate A before entering the main stadium building.
The Pit Party will proceed rain or shine.​


Timings

ITINERARY 2pm shows*:
8:30am - Check in opens for guests holding a Total Access Pass (TAP) - located outside near the member entry at Gate A
9:15am - Party in the Pits for TAP attendees opens
10:00am - Party in the Pits entry opens for attendees who hold pit party ticket
12:30pm - Stadium doors open to all Pit Party attendees
1:00pm - Gates open
2:00pm - Show time!
2.55pm - Intermission
4.00pm - Approximate finish time
 
^ Patrons looking to redeem the TAP early access will need to be at the registration entrance for check-in no later than 9:30am, anyone who arrives after check-in cannot be guaranteed early TAP entrance to the Party in the Pits and will then have to enter via the general public entrance.
 
*All times are subject to change without notice. To ensure all patrons receive the best experience possible, please note, longer autograph lines will be cut off prior to 1pm to ensure all patrons waiting receive an autograph prior to the 1pm closure of the Party in the Pits. In addition to this any fans looking to ENTER after 12:30pm may not be allowed into the Party in the Pits. Please plan to arrive with enough time to walk the Party in the Pits and get your autographs.

5:15pm - TAP patrons are escorted to Meet & Greet location
5:30pm - TAP Meet & Greet with the stars

Ticket Collection & Gate Sales
Ticket purchase and collection will be available from the box office next to Gate A from 9.00am on show day only. Patrons are encouraged to collect their pre-purchased tickets in advance from a Ticketmaster outlet. If you have "E Tickets", please print them in advance.

Parking
Please note road works are taking place on Greville Road, if you are needing to come via this route plan your trip in advance and allow extra time for transit.
 
Car park A (limited) - $10 per vehicle. Access from Stadium Drive
Car park H (limited) - $10 per vehicle. Access from Coliseum Drive from 1pm
Hootens Reserve - Free. Access from Oteha Valley Road
 
Mobility Parking
Mobility parking is available in carpark A for patrons with a valid mobility parking card.
Please present your permit on arrival. Entry is via Gate A from Stadium Drive.
 
Food & Beverage
A range of catering outlets will be available with bar service. Please ensure you bring ID. Acceptable forms of ID are NZ driver's licence, NZ or overseas passport or HANZ 18+ card.
If we think you look under 25, we will ask you for ID. No ID, no service.
Please note, international driver's licence or other international IDs are not acceptable.
 
Eftpos
Eftpos facilities will be available at this event however it is strongly advised to come prepared with sufficient cash.​

Our Monster Jam® trucks are quite loud and ear protection is recommended for children and or patrons who have sensitive hearing. Ear muffs & ear plugs will also be available for purchase at the show.

Quilt Festival

Auckland Festival of Quilts

Over 250 quilts, more than 40 merchants and 3 travelling quilt exhibitions will converge on QBE stadium  for the Auckland Quilt Guild's annual show - Festival of Quilts. Judges from New Zealand and Australia will determine the coveted Best In Show prize, along with thirty other prizewinners over various quilt categories. With nearly five hundred members, the Auckland Quilt Guild's annual show is one of the largest in New Zealand.

Sewing machines will be on special for the three days of the show, together with a vast selection of retail therapy for quilters and stitchers. The very popular beaded Christmas decorations from Bangladesh are returning, along with sewing fabric and gadgets, teddy bears, sewing patterns, quilt kits and quilt patterns. Guild members will also be selling a selection of finished quilts, quilt tops, and craft items.

A full café will be operating with espresso coffee, tea, cakes, and lunch options.

The Auckland Quilt Guild is a not for profit organization that provides education seminars and classes for its members. The guild donates more than 600 quilts every year to various charities and people in need. These recently included a women's prison quilt group, Hospice and the Auckland City Mission. New members are always welcome to our monthly meetings.
