North Harbour Stadium and Harbour Function Centre is currently
undergoing a full refurbishment of Level One. We will have new
curtains, new paint and new carpet as of April 1st 2012. This new
look will give the stadium a fresh, corporate feel making the
Stadium an ideal venue for your next function or event.
We will post some great photos of the upgrade, once it is
completed so keep an eye out.

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant for a newly created
position in our small friendly team working for North Harbour
Stadium Trust. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full time
role will be varied and challenging and your ability to problem
solve will make you an asset to our team. You will also need to be
a great communicator, organised, detail oriented, IT savvy and most
importantly have a positive attitude.
Scope of role
- Bringing the monthly accounts to trial balance
- Carry out monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Maintain and reconcile the Cashbook
- Assist in the audited accounts preparation and budgeting
annually
- Assist operations and function centre with event costing
- IT support for the network users
- Administer Tenancy costs
- Managing the accounts payable process (with support for data
entry)
- Assist with Accounts Receivable when required
Skills and experience required:
- Degree or diploma qualification in accounting (or working
towards)
- Flexible skill set and attitude as duties range from data entry
to Audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word skills
- Computer literacy and experience with the Microsoft suite of
applications
- Experience with AttachePro' Accounting Software an
advantage
- Able to work in an open plan environment with a small team
- Confidence to deal and communicate effectively with
customers/suppliers
- Able to build relationships internally and externally
- IT Savvy and a problem solver
- Some previous office experience
